Logistics CoordinatorLocation：Frankfurt or Waldlauberbsheim Job SummaryThe Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating end-to-end logistics operations, including import/export processes, transportation arrangements, and documentation control. This role ensures timely and cost-effective delivery of heavy machinery and spare parts, while maintaining compliance with international trade regulations and supporting business operations across the region. Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate domestic and international transportation arrangements (road, sea, air), ensuring timely delivery and real-time tracking of shipmentsManage full-cycle import and export processes, including preparation, verification, and submission of all required documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, certificates, etc.)Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve logistics issues to minimize delays and operational disruptionsMaintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including import/export data, transportation logs, and cost trackingCollaborate closely with sales, service, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery executionOptimize logistics plans and routes to improve efficiency and reduce transportation and handling costsEvaluate, select, and manage logistics service providers (freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers), ensuring service quality and cost competitivenessHandle logistics cost control, invoice verification, and payment reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal proceduresEnsure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policiesSupport insurance handling and claims processes related to transportation damages or lossesAssist in continuous improvement of logistics processes and systems RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, or a related fieldProven experience in logistics operations, particularly in import/export and transportation of heavy machinery or industrial equipmentSolid understanding of international trade processes, customs clearance, and logistics documentationStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive working styleStrong problem-solving ability and attention to detailExperience in working with logistics service providers and managing vendor performanceProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and email communication; experience with ERP systems is a plusFluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are an advantage Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)Experience in construction machinery, heavy equipment, or industrial sectorsFamiliarity with Incoterms, international shipping regulations, and customs complianceExperience in multinational or cross-border business environments Additional InformationThis position may involve coordination across multiple countries and time zonesOccasional business travel may be required Application NoticePlease note that your application materials may be shared with the company’s headquarters (located in China) for recruitment evaluation purposes.
