What you'll do: For the Solution Advisory Digital Supply Chain team, we are looking for a Solution Advisor Expert (f/m/d) to further expand our market success. As the go-to person within the sales team for any solution or product questions related to service and maintenance processes, your focus and expertise will lie at the heart of SAP's Intelligent Asset Management portfolio. You are well-versed in maintenance and service processes, their challenges, opportunities, and optimization potential - and you bring hands-on, practical knowledge of the core solutions that power them: SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), SAP Asset Performance Management (APM), SAP Service and Asset Manager, and SAP Dynamic Forms. This specific product depth is what sets you apart and makes you a trusted advisor both internally and with customers. You will support the full sales cycle — from demand generation and opportunity identification to software demonstration delivery and post-sales customer engagement — helping customers improve service and maintenance excellence by positioning the SAP Business Suite with a focus on supply chain management, Operate & Service, and Business AI. Your responsibilities will include: Providing deep process and solution-specific expertise in SAP EAM, APM, Service and Asset Manager, and Dynamic Forms — delivering compelling, hands-on demonstrations and solution presentations tailored to both expert audiences and C-level stakeholders Generating new cloud software opportunities through proactive positioning of the SAP portfolio, including qualifying customer situations and developing solution proposals with compelling value argumentation Supporting the account team with presentations and events centered on Operate & Service, contributing to account strategy, competitive differentiation, and the identification of new opportunities Processing RFPs and planning and executing complex Proofs of Concept (PoCs), particularly around SAP EAM, APM, Service and Asset Manager, and Dynamic Forms scenarios Establishing yourself as a thought leader within the account team while independently coordinating and planning tasks across the full sales cycle Transitioning engagements effectively to SAP Consulting or implementation partners, and engaging with customers post-sale to reinforce the SAP vision and ensure eagerness for renewal Representing the topic area at trade fairs and events, and leveraging digital assets throughout customer engagement including demos, presentations, and other content What you bring: 5+ years of deep, hands-on expertise in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and SAP Asset Performance Management (APM) — you are recognized as an expert in these solutions and bring a strong track record of applying them in customer-facing contexts Good working knowledge of SAP Service and Asset Manager and SAP Dynamic Forms is strongly desired, as these solutions form a core part of the portfolio you will be representing Strong understanding of the integration of the Service & Operate Portfolio within SAP S/4HANA, including Plant Maintenance (PM) in ECC is essential for this role Additional knowledge of SAP Field Service Management (FSM) and SAP Business Network for Asset Collaboration (BNAC) is a welcome plus Experience in pre-sales, value advisory, or demonstration roles for cloud solutions, including value-based selling approaches (Value Engineering, Value Advisory) and knowledge of Cloud and SaaS/PaaS models in the B2B environment Experience planning and managing complex Proofs of Concept (PoCs), ideally with a consulting background, and a good understanding of the overall SAP portfolio including the Intelligent Enterprise strateg
